KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) has put a ban on Qingqi Rikshaws to drive them on main roads of cities. SHC ordered to check route permit, Registration and fitness certificate of every rikshaw and take all possible actions against violation.
Sindh High Court concluded a case to ban Qingqi Rikshaws. After hearing the arguments, Sindh High Court has accepted a petition of Government of Sindh and has banned Qingqi Rikshaws.
Here what I feel that whether the decision has been taken to save people from any kind of accidents or Government of Sindh and Judiciary within Sindh has taken handsome amount to put on them, to restore local transport mafia. If it has been banned, than Government should also take all possible efforts to stop all those mini coaches and buses, which consist Oxygen and other ordinary cylinders for CNG filling.
I feel very sorry on Government of Sindh that they’ve been failed to provide any kind of employment or relaxation to the local people, but rather than acting against the culprits which are hidden behind them, they have banned these Rikshaws. Local people wants to know that where is a Government or judiciary, who is not taking any step against Ghost Employees within these Government Institutions? Answer is, their own relatives, friends are benefited from these things. If you go through the rural areas, but nowadays even Urban areas of Sindh, they seems to be fish market. Scattered roads, no drainage systems, no education system, no any thing. Everything has come to an end and if someone wants to earn some money in a legal way, than eyes of government are on them and judiciary is on them. I must say, get the BMW’s from these culprit judicial authorities and luxurious vehicles from government officials, which they own from theft money of local people, than they should talk that what is good and what is bad for the people of Sindh.
