Elected Members Assembly should be given full proof Security: Zardari

KARACHI: Ex-President of Pakistan and Co-Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Mr. Asif Ali Zardari has directed to Sindh Government to provide full-proof security to all elected assembly members.

As per PPP’s sources, Asif Zardari has directed to Sindh Government to provide a full proof security to all elected assembly members. Mr. Zardari has shown a security concern, after a target killing incident occurred on MQM leader Rasheed Godel.

Government of Sindh has been directed to re-consider the security arrangements throughout the Sindh for Assembly members. In this connection, Chief of Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has been directed to take all possible measurements to provide full-proof security to all members of Sindh Assembly. Mr. Zardari said that such negligence will not be tolerated at any cost. He further said that the security of elected assembly members is a responsibility of Sindh Government and if needed assembly members should be provided with additional security resources.
