Passport directorate decided to provide passports of citizens at home. According to the private channel, passport home delivery work will be started from next month. It has been given the responsibility to the private courier service. The passport will be delivered to the desired person’s at home address after certain period of time. In the first phase, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta and few other cities have been added where this facility is being provided. The summary was sent to the DG passport Zulifquar Cheema in May by interior minister Chaudhry Nisar. In which he was given the work of fulfilling the task as challenge. Implementation of this project, the people will not require to visit the offices. That not only save the time but also the corruption will be removed inside and outside the passport office.
