NEPRA has issued a notification to increase the tariff rate of K-Electric by 81 paisas. This increase has been done due to the fuel adjustment for the month of January.
According to NEPRA, the recovery for the increased rates will be processed under the monthly bill for the month of May. According to NEPRA, consumers utilized an electricity during the month of January, was around 1.18 Billion. Due to the increase in Fuel prices, electricity tariff has also been increased.
NEPRA has shown his concerns over unfair load-shedding in Karachi and has directed to K-Electric to provide his level best to generate the electricity and to reduce the load-shedding.

نيپرا جو ڪي اليڪٽرڪ جي لاءِ بجلي 81 پيسا مهانگي ڪرڻ جو نوٽيفيڪيشن جاري ڪري ڇڏيو. جنوري جي فيول ايڊجسٽمينٽ جي مد ۾ بجلي مهانگي ٿيندي. نيپرا جي اعلان مطابق ڪي اليڪٽرڪ جي صارفين کان مئي جي بلن ۾ اضافي وصولي ڪئي ويندي. نيپرا جي مطابق جنوري ۾ صارفين هڪ ارب هڪ ڪروڙ اٺ لک بجلي استعمال ڪئي. جنوري ۾ بجلي جي پيداوار تي فيول لاڳت ۾ اضافو ٿيو. نيپرا جو ڪراچي ۾ اجايو لوڊشيڊنگ تي سخت تشويش جو اظهار ڪندي ڪي اليڪٽرڪ کي پوري صلاحيت جي مطابق بجلي پيدا ڪرڻ جي هدايت ڪئي آهي.
