KARACHI: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan said that Karachi Operation is not against MQM or any other political party.
Chaudhary Nisar said that Karachi operation is to eliminate criminal elements present within the city and to restore peace within the city. Nisar further said that, Rangers Operation is within the parameters of law. It is better in the national interest that all political parties should support to the Rangers Operations for successful completion.
On Wednesday, Federal Interior Minister Mr. Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan held a meeting with National Speaker Ayaz Sadiq at Islamabad. In a meeting, both the leaders discussed the issues of MQM leader’s resignations within National and Provincial Assemblies. They also discussed current situation of Karachi and Rangers Operation. Mr. Nisar said that Karachi Operations are carried in order to restore peace in the city and to eliminate the criminal elements, which are present within the city. He said that, Government or law agencies are not targeting MQM or any other political party in any means. He said that he’ll try to clear all legal obligations of any political party.
Ch. Nisar said that in the national interest, all political parties should support Rangers Operations in Karachi.
