Muttahida Qaumi Movement opposed the use of Biometric System during the Bi-Elections of NA-246. MQM Candidate Kanwar Naveed Ahmed said, that government should not do such experiments during bi-elections.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s leader Kanwar Naveed Ahmed said while opposing the Biometric System that, election commission should not experiment the biometric system during the bi-elections of NA-246. He further said that, Election Commission is still not ready to adopt Biometric System and this is not the right time to test the Biometric System. If there comes any kind of errors within the Biometric System, than there will be so many questions raising on Election Commission.
NADRA and Election commission has given its suggestion to use Biometric System during bi-elections. On which the consideration is still undergo.
