KARACHI: NEPRA has announced its introductory tariff for the electricity produced from Sugarcane leftovers.
As per NEPRA they have approved 9 new projects of electricity based on Sugarcane Leftovers and has announced a tariff for next 30 years. As per this tariff, the electricity tariff will remain same for 30 years, which will be Rs. 10.72 per unit. For first 10 years the tariff will remain at the rate of Rs. 12.80 per unit and from 11thyear to 30th year, the tariff will remain at a rate of Rs. 8.18 per unit.
