ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan said that now people of Pakistan will be able to obtain their Passports and CNICs from the same place and there will be no any need of any kind of sources to obtain them. SMS services will ease the process.
While talking to media, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhar Nisar Ali Khan said that, no one will have a need of any kind of sources to make their Passports. Government has initiated SMS services, which will make Passport issuance much easier process. He further said that now people of Pakistan will be able to make or renew their passports and CNICs at one place. In order to receive a Passport, a candidate will be provided with a unique code via SMS. He added that, they are working to facilitate people of Pakistan with Passport and CNIC issuance processes. Government is working to make the process much clear. He added that, people will be provided with the information. In collaboration with NADRA, service centers will be developed in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
Chaudhary Nisar said that in order to put any name in Exit Control List (ECL), a proper notification will be issued by the ministry. The person who will be included in the ECL, will be given a right to appeal. He added that, Government will not let anyone to misuse the NIC usage. Passports will be delivered at doorsteps of the people.
