As the summer has reached, the need of Electricity has also been increased. In order to meet with the basic needs of Electricity, Oil consumption for Electricity Production has been increased by 10%.
Likewise every year, this year as summer has been approached and the electricity needs are increased, which in turn increased the consumption of Oil as well. Last month oil consumption reached to the increase of 10% which means about 8 lac tons of oil has been consumed in the month of March for Electricity Consumption.
According to Ministry of Petroleum, Furnace Oil used during the month of March in Electricity production was reached to 806000 tons while in the month of February it was around 734000 tons.
Furnace Oil which was used last month, around 6 lac tons was imported from outside, which 2 lac tons Furnace Oil was obtained through local Refineries. According to Finance Ministry, as the summer heat grip will increase, the use of Furnace oil will also be increased.

گرمين ۾ بجلي جي پيداوار وڌائڻ لاءِ تيل جي استعمال ۾ ڏھ سيڪڙي جو اضافو ريڪارڊ ڪرايو ويو آهي. هر سال جي طرح گرمين جي اچڻ سان هي بجلي جي پيداوار جي لاءِ تيل جي استعمال ۾ اضافو ٿي ويو آهي. گذريل مهيني مارچ جي دوران تيل جي استعمال ۾ ڏھ سيڪڙو اضافي سان اٺ لک ٽن کان وڌي وئي آهي. وزارت پيٽروليم جي مطابق مارچ ۾ بجلي جي پيداوار ۾ استعمال ٿيڻ واري فرنس آئل جو وڪرو اٺ لک ڇھ هزار ٽن کان وڌيڪ رهيو جڏهن ته فيبروري جي دوران فرنس آئل جو استعمال ست لک چوٽيھ هزار ٽن رهيو هيو. گذريل مهيني استعمال ٿيڻ وارو اٺ لک ٽن فرنس آئل مان ڇھ لک ٽن ٻاهران گهرايو ويو هو جڏهن ته ٻه لک ٽن مقامي ريفائنرين مان حاصل ٿيڻ وارو فرنس آئل استعمال ڪيو ويو آهي. وزارت خزانه جي ذرائع جي مطابق گرمين جي شدت ۾ اضافي سان هي فرنس آئل جي استعمال ۾ وڌيڪ اضافي جو امڪان آهي
