Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 3-2 and West Indies still exists on the ninth position in ICC ODI ranking. Which means that if there is no one day series till September 30 then Pakistan will definitely qualify for the Champions trophy. It should be clear that there are news that West Indies wants to play with India but perhaps series can’t be played due to lack of time and Pakistan will qualify. If one day series is played between West Indies and India and West Indies is able to defeat India then West Indies will jump from 9th position to 8th position in ICC ranking while Pakistan will stand on 9th position from 8th. It will be very difficult for Pakistan to participate in the last edition of ICC Champions trophy.
