LAHORE: Director Operations, Punjab Food Authority Ayesha Mumtaz, who has conducted numerous raids on restaurants throughout the province, on selling cheap and unhygienic food, has been threatened for her activities.
Ayesha said on her interview to private news channel, that whatever she is doing is under the law. Whoever will violate the law, they’ll take all possible actions that.
Ayesha Mumtaz has been popularized in Punjab for conducting immediate raids on restaurants in Punjab for their unhygienic environment, expired foods or food that does not meets the basic requirements. She said that, whatever she is doing, that comes within the law and law allows her to conduct raids if something is going illegal. If any of restaurant or hotel will be providing unhygienic foods, then they will not only punish them for that but also penalize them for providing such food stuff.
Ayesha Mumtaz gave such statement after receiving numerous threatens to her.
