Importing LNG will be more expensive than the Natural Gas. Gas obtained from Sindh should be given to Sindh: CM Sindh
Karachi: Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, while talking to media said that, the LNG which Pakistan is importing from Qatar is expensive than the Natural Gas in Pakistan. Gas which is obtained from Sindh reserves should be given to us.
Addressing to Press Conference, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said, Federal Government has not done any kind of consultation with Sindh Government regarding LNG Import. He further added that Balochistan is adding 23% of total Gas production in Country’s total Gas Production. Wherever, the need of Gas is, LNG should be given out there but the gas which has been produced within Sindh, should be given to Sindh.
He further added that, after every three months joint bilateral council conference has been conducted. We tried to raise the issue there, but due to the reason that LNG issue was not a part of agenda, no one listened to us. Syed Qaim Ali Shah said the gas which we are producing within Sindh is much cheaper than the imported gas.

ڪراچي؛ وزيراعلٰي سنڌ سيد قاعم علي شاه جو چوڻ آهي ته جيڪا ايل اين جي قطر کان برآمد ڪعي وعي آهي، اها قدرتي گيس جي مقابلي ۾ مهنگي آهي، جيڪا گيس سنڌ مان ٿي نڪري اها اسان کي ملڻ کپي.
پريس ڪانفرنس ڪندي سيد قاعم علي شاه چيو ته، ايل اين جي جي ڪنهن به معاملي ۾ سنڌ حڪومت سان ڪا به مشاورت ناهي ڪعي وعي. هن وڌيڪ چيو ته 23 فيصد گيس جي پيداوار بلوچستان ۾ ٿعي ٿي. جتي گيس جي ضرورت آهي، اتي ايل اين جي ڏني وڃي پر جيڪا گيس سنڌ مان نڪري ٿي اها صرف سنڌ کي ڏني وڃي. انهن وڌيڪ چيو ته هر ٽن مهينن کانپوءِ مشترڪا مفادات ڪاعونسل جو اجلاس ٿيندو آهي. ايل اين جي جو معاملو ايجنڊي ۾ نه هعڻ سبب اسان جي ڳاله نه ٻڌي وعي. قاعم علي شاه چيو ته درآمد ٿيڻ وارس ايل اين جي قدرتي گيس جي مقابلي ۾ مهانگي آهي.
