LAHORE: Famous video calling service Skype has recently launched its new feature with the name of “Skype for Web” all around the world including Pakistan. Application is available on Windows Operating System as well as on other operating systems including Apple Mac, Google Chrome as well.
After launching this feature, also a huge internet surfers from Pakistan are getting benefit of this feature without installing the Skype Application by simply logging through their Web Browser. People all around the world are getting benefit of this new feature to get-in-touch with their friends and family by doing messaging, voice and voice calls.
Initially, an application was only available for the British Users. At that time if someone wants to use this service from any other country, one has to use the proxy or a VPN Connection. After a successful experiment by the Company, this feature has now been available for the whole world. Now people can benefit from this feature by simply using Internet Explorer 11, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari. In order to open the “Skype for Web”, you need to enter the web link web.skype.com on a browser address bar. Once you are on the page, a login page will be visible in front of you. If you are already a user of Skype, than all you need is to enter your username and password and click on ‘Sign In’. Those who don’t have skype account, they need to first create their account. If you want, you can connect with your skype through your Facebook Account as well.
