Federal Government of Pakistan has made duty free to the import of Machinery which will be used for Thar Coal Mining.
ISLAMABAD: Federal Government of Pakistan made a decision not put any kind of Duty charges for the international companies who wishes to invest on Thar Coal Mining. The machinery, specific vehicles which will be used in mining and different kinds of machinery used to install the plants will be duty free.
As per Federal Board Revenue (FBR), this subsidy will be given to those companies, who has the lease of Thar Reserves Block and those who will import the specific plant, machinery, tools and vehicles.
According to FBR, they cannot sell those equipment to any local company or individual entity. If any company observed to so, than FBR reserves the right to charge all kinds of Taxes and Duties which are applicable on import of such equipment. FBR has also cleared that the plants, machinery, other equipment and specific vehicles to drive on the stones, will only be used on the field after their verification by FBR.
The owners or their members will submit their pledge to the FBR that the tools and equipment about the imported tools and equipment.
According to Experts, a step by FBR to make a duty free can provide a benefit and speed up the process to work on minerals, which is good in Country’s profit.

اسلام آباد: وفاق جو ٿر مان ڪوئلو ڪڍڻ لاءِ پاڪستان ۾ سرمايه ڪاري ڪرڻ واريون غير ملڪي ڪمپنين لاءِ پلانٽس، مشينري ۽ سامان ۽ مخصوص گاڏين جي درآمد تي ڪسٽم ڊيوٽي تي ڇوٽ ڏئي ڇڏي. ايف بي آر جي مطابق هي ڇوٽ ان ڪمپنين جي لاءِ هوندي جنهن وٽ ٿر جي ذخيري جي ڪنهن بلاڪ ۾ ليز هوندي جيڪي ڪمپنيون هي پلانٽ، مشينري، سامان ۽ گاڏيون درآمد ڪنديون. ايف بي آر جي اجازت کان بغير انهن کي ڪنهن به مقامي ڪمپني يا ماڻهو کي وڪرو نه ٿو ڪري سگهي ۽ ڪا به ڪمپني اهڙي وڪرڻ ۾ ملوث ڏٺي وئي ته ان کان اهي سڀ ٽيڪس، ڊيوٽيون جيڪي انهن ڪمرشل درآمد تي لاڳو هيون اهي وصول ڪيون وينديون. جيئن ته ايف بي آر واضح ڪيو آهي ته پلانٽس، مشينري، سامان ۽ مخصوص پٿر تي هلائڻ وارين گاڏيون کي ايف بي آر جي علم ۾ کڻي اچڻ کانپوءِ ٿر ۾ ڪم ڪرڻ وارين ڪمپنين جي حوالي ڪري سگهجي ٿو. ٿر ۾ ڪم ڪرڻ واريون ڪمپنين جا سربراھ يا ان جا نمائنده ايف بي آر کي حلف جي بنياد تي تحرير ڏيندا ته جيڪي هو شيون درآمد ڪري رهيا آهن. ماهرين جي مطابق ايف بي آر جي طرفان ڊيوٽي تي فائدن کانپوءِ ٿر جي ڪوئلي جي ذخيري کي ترقي ڏيارڻ جا امڪان وڌي ويندا
