The Anti-Doping Chief of Russia Found Dead

The ex-head of Russia’s anti-doping agency RUSADA has left the world less than 2 months after resigning from his post.

Nikita Kamaev suffered a “severe heart attack,” in accordance to a statement on the organization’s official website.

The 52-year-old stepped down in the month of December following a doping scandal that observed Russia banned from global athletics.

“RUSADA gives condolences to the family, dear ones and co-workers over the premature death of Nikita Kamaev.”
