Minority Students will be rewarded on memorizing their religious books

LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Tahir Khalil Sindhu, Member Punjab Assembly Kashi Ram and five other members committee has sent a summary to Punjab Government.
In a Summary, committee has demanded to the Government the law to reward the students from minority religions. Committee said that Muslim students who memorize a Holy Quran, get reward of 25 additional marks in their academic profile, similarly committee has demanded the same rule to be applicable for the students who are from minority religions. They demanded to apply the law, because they all are citizens of a same country. A central leader of Hindu Sabha Reform, Mr. Amarnath Randhava and Harey Rama Foundation Pakistan’s President Ramesh J. Pal told the private news agency that, the summary has been sent to the government. In the summary the committee has identified that if a Hindu student will memorize his Bhagwat Geeta, than that particular student will be rewarded with 25 marks in his academic profile and if a Christian is going to memorize Bible, then they’ll also be rewarded with 25 marks.

Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Mr. Tahir Khalil Sindhu said that he is 100 percent confident, that Government will approve the summary.
