LAHORE: In order to facilitate people of Punjab, Government of Punjab under the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif recently completed a project of Lahore Development Authority Metro Bus Service. By this service local people can get high quality of travelling services in a very cheap and economical fares.
After Metro Bus Project, now Punjab Government has initiated another project with the name of Orange Line Metro Train. A project is spread on a route of 27 kms. In regards to this, Punjab Government has requested for the Contractors Pre-Qualification from Pakistan Engineering Companies, which they’ve to submit by July 10, 2015. Only those companies are eligible to submit Contracts pre-qualification form, who has Pakistan Engineering Council License.
As per this project, the project will start from Ali Town at Raiwind Road to Multan Road Railway Station, GT Road and Dera Gujjran. Around 25 Kms of the project distance will be built on the altitudes of 6 meters above from the land, while 1.7 Kms will be underground. The project will have total 26 Railway Stations and one Depot.

لاھور: پنجاب جي ماڻهن جي سفر کي آرامده ۽ سستو ٺاهڻ لاءِ وزيرِاعليٰ ميان محمد نواز شريف ڪجھ وقت پهريون لاهور ڊولپمينٽ اٿارٽي ميٽرو بس سروس جو بنياد رکيو، جيڪو پنجاب حڪومت ڪاميابيءَ سان مڪمل ڪري پنهجنجي عوام لاءِ کولي ڇڏيو. هاڻي پنجاب حڪومت لاهور ۾ ستاويه ڪلوميٽر ڊگھي اورينج لائين ميٽرو ٽرين جي منصوبي جو بنياد رکيو آهي. ان ڏس ۾ پنجاب حڪومت پاڪستان جي انجينيئرنگ ڪمپنين کان ڪانٽريڪٽرز پري ڪواليفيڪيشن جي لاءِ ڏهه جولاءِ تائين درخواستون طلب ڪري ورتيون آهن. انهن ۾ صرف اهي ڪمپنيون حصو وٺي سگھنديون، جن وٽ پاڪستان انجينيئرنگ ڪائونسل جو لائسنس هوندو.
هن منصوبي جي تحت راءِ ونڊ روڊ تي موجود علي ٽائون کان ملتان روڊ ريلوي اسٽيشن ۽ جي ٽي روڊ ۽ ڊيره گجرا تائين هيءَ ٽرين هلائي ويندي.
ٽرين جو 25 ڪلو ميٽر جو حصو زمين کان ڇَھَ ميٽڙ اونچائيءَ تي تعمير ڪيو ويندو، جڏھن ته 1.7 ڪلوميٽر حصو زمين هيٺ ھوندو. ان منصوبي ۾ ڪل 26 اسٽِشنون ۽ ھڪ ڊپو به تعمير ڪيو ويندو.
