LAHORE: A famous and historical university of Punjab Province “Punjab University” has been included in a list of world’s finest universities. A report showed that Punjab University has been included in first 8% universities from around 24000.
According to the reports, a government organization of Spain “WebMatrix” organized a ranking system for the universities from all around the world. The report has included Punjab University in top 8% universities of the world from the total of 24000 universities of the world. On other hand Punjab University has been ranked on 15th Position in South Asian Universities. Report further elaborated that the university has been ranked on 1stPosition from 291 Universities in Pakistan.
Vice Chancellor of Punjab University, Dr. Mujahid Kamran said that, this is really a very big achievement by the institution and is a proud of nation. He further said that the achievement is not only of the university but has also brighten the name of Pakistan in the region.
