KARACHI: Government of Pakistan imposed a ban on world’s largest Video Sharing Website ‘YouTube’ within Pakistan. A ban on the website has passed 1000 days today. The website was blocked in Pakistan at the time when a YouTube user shared a blasphemy videos. A ban was imposed on September 17, 2012 by Supreme Court of Pakistan. At that time, Supreme Court issued a notification that until and unless YouTube is not going to remove the blasphemy videos from their website, till that the website will remain blocked within Pakistan.
Information and IT Minister of Pakistan, Ms. Anusha Rehman told to senate last day that Government has taken numerous steps in this regards but they cannot stop such blasphemy material from internet, because there is no such technology in the World to stop such material from the Internet that makes YouTube completely clear from such material.

ڪراچي: حڪومت پاڪستان جي طرفان دنيا ۾ سب کان وڌيڪ وڊيو شيئر ڪرڻ واري ويب سائيٽ تي پابندي لڳي ھڪ ھزار ڏينھن گذري چڪا آھن. وڊيو شيئر ڪرڻ واري ويب سائيٽ تي گستاخانه مواد پيش نظر ٿيڻ جي ڪري 17 سيپٽمبر 2012، ۾ پابندي لڳائي وئي ھئي، ھن وقت سپريم ڪورٽ جي پاران ھڪ حڪم نامو جاري ڪيو ويو آھي ته جيستائين گوستاخانه يا قابل اعتراض مواد کي بلاڪ ڪرڻ جو ڪو مؤثر انتظام نه ٿو ڪيو وڃي تيستائين يو ٽيوب تي پابندي رھندي.انفارميشن ۽ آئي ٽي جي موجوده وزير مملڪت انوشا رحمان گذريل ڏينھن ۾ سينيٽ کي ٻڌايو ته ان حوالي سان ڪيترائي قدم کنيا ويا آھن پر گستاخانا مواد جي روڪٿام نه ٿي سگھي ٿي ڇو ته دنيا ۾ اھڙي ڪا به ٽيڪنالاجي يا طريقي ڪار نه آھي جيڪا يوٽيوب کي متنازعه مواد کان سؤ فيصد روڪي سگھي.
